My Sem-Break Overall…

It’s time for me to “roll carpet” (summarize) my semester break. Indeed, it almost comes to an end. By June the first of the year 2009 (1 June 2009), I will be going for my Year 2 Semester 1 in Computer Engineering.

I had wonderful time travelling around Penang especially. I wished I could travel for another time if I were to have the chance. Studying abroad in Peninsular Malaysia definitely gave me the opportunity to travel different states whenever my family coming over for vacation. I also had fun when I met my old buddies in KL.

I had good food indeed before going back to Kampar Perak for studies. After so many months of starvation, I finally managed myself to eat & drink at:

  1. Secret Recipe’s Chocolate Indulgence cake.
  2. McDonalds’ Big Mac (in Midvalley Megamall, KL Sentral and in Ipoh Jusco).
  3. Ho Chak’s (8TV) recommendation.
  4. Jason a.k.a. Ah Xian’s (Astro AEC) recommendation.
  5. Jalan Alor’s Famous Beef Noodle
  6. Variety of foods @ Gurney Drive, Penang.
  7. Nando’s Chickenland @ KLCC.
  8. T.G.I. Fridays @ Pavilion KL.
  9. Domino’s Pizza.
  10. Haagen Dazs.
  11. Koon Woh Tong’s herbal drinks (except for herbal jelly)
  12. Jusco’s sushi.

But sadly to say, I missed:

  1. Sabah’s Sang Nyuk Mee.
  2. Sabahan local food.
  3. Coffee Bean’s The Ultimate.
  4. Mum’s cooking.
  5. Tony Roma’s steak.

Fashion & Shopping:

When it comes to fashion and shopping:

  1. I had my haircut in Ipoh Parade for RM 29.00 (I should return there for my haircut next time).
  2. I got TWO pairs of Crocs shoes instead of ONE!
  3. I only got myself 1 pair of casual pants from Hush Puppies (Mind you, I don’t like to wear denim).
  4. One “slim-fit” type long sleeve shirt from The Executive and a polo-tee from Puma.
  5. 3 pairs of Hush Puppies socks.

In KL, I shopped at Low Yat Plaza, Sungei Wang, Lot 10, Pavilion, KLCC, Midvalley Megamall, Sunway Pyramid, 1-Utama and The Gardens. In Penang on the other hand, I only shopped in Queensbay Mall.

Unfortunately I can’t get myself:

  1. Nokia E71 (I know it’s an ugly phone to you but I want to have the young entrepreneur look) [though someone expecting me to own HTC Touch HD].

Father didn’t expect me to get a new phone. XD

  1. Cooler Master NotePal Infinite (though someone expecting me to go for Zalman brand).

Confused on whether to buy or not to buy. In the end, I didn’t buy it.

  1. Shirt from The GAP.

I can’t afford to have one. A pair of Polo-Tee cost me RM 149.90. WTH…

  1. A pair of new spectacles (Parasite brand).

Such a unique frame that cost at least RM 1.5K. Sorry, perhaps next time.

  1. A pouch for cycling purpose (hoping for Billabong / RipCurl / Quiksilver or most probably BodyGlove).

Spoilt by choices!!! I didn’t get one.

Results & New Timetable:

My exam result was way too SUX (sucks). And now, my Year 2 Semester 1’s timetable…

Subject to change.

I’m not sure whether it was arranged in such a way that makes my life stress or not. I just hope that my life will be as smooth as possible in Kampar for the next semester onwards. AND ALSO MY INTERNET SPEED!
