Teluk Intan Day Trip [Leaning Tower] - 19 Deccember 2010

My day trip to Teluk Intan went on with...

Leaning Tower of Teluk Intan

Click here to know more about this building.

Wi-Fi facility provided but I didn't get to try.

Wishing well.

The staircase is like a nightmare to me.

The ceiling of second floor. That's the highest floor for tourist to visit such place. !@#$%^&*

Can you spot "Adrian was here"? NO! I'm not into vandalism.

Anyone thinking to commit suicide in this building?

Creepy stairs.

Town view from tower.

That's all for my trip to Teluk Intan. I just hate those policemen treated me while I walking across the street. Is like racism to me.

Teluk Intan Day Trip [Food] - 19 Dec 2010

Had a day trip to Teluk Intan by bus. Upon arrival, I was searching for place to eat...

Around Jalan Ah Cheong.

Mee Rebus (Didn't quite like it though).

Gerai Soya Bean Jalan Maharani (quite famous!).

Came across this truck...

Selling salted chicken and duck (Hell no I'm eating it all alone).

Featured in Ho Chak, 8TV.

Walked to...

Glutton Square (Sadly not much stall open in the noon).

I tried LoLo (Ice blended honeydew with melon balls and sago).

Next, I made my way to...

Well known Rojak Ah Chai in Teluk Intan.

Made through so many headlines.

Rojak! (comes with cuttlefish too!)

In the next post, Leaning Tower of Teluk Intan.

Shopping @ Jusco Kinta City, Ipoh - 15 Dec 2010

Since I was too free and so many days to go before returning KK, I traveled to Ipoh...

Waiting for "rotten" bus (I'm not a spoilt brat) from Kampar to Ipoh.

Saw this awesome truck passing through but not sure heading to where.

Upon arrival at Medan Kidd, Ipoh...

Hop on Perak Transit bus to Jaya Jusco. Picture in courtesy of Ipoh Echo.

Actually the bus has only 1 door for passenger to get in. And it's in light blue color. And they started to implement new system...

1. Insert exact amount of bus fare for your destination into this "so-called donation" box.
2. Then only the bus driver will key in your destination to print out receipt/ticket.

From Medan Kidd Bus Station to Jaya Jusco for RM 2.00.

The most common issue in Malaysia, if you don't prepare small change for public transport like bus / taxi, the driver would go mad at you. NO change will be return or NO ticket issue unless you prepare a proper amount.

The good thing about this new bus, Perak Transit bus is fully air-conditioned, comfy and I feel so syiok! got turbo lagi tu...

The new bus comes with reverse camera, can you spot the monitor?

After shopping and enjoying the great food, I waited for bus, also Perak Transit...

This bus still using the old fashion way, giving out tickets once you have you have paid him. The driver was too pro enough that he didn't turn on monitor (Arrow) for reversing guide.

Ipoh Town.

Bought two khakis pants from Giordano.

Malaysia Year End Sale is here and going to end soon before Chinese New Year preparations starts. So I better keep those pants for CNY celebrations.

C. Cherng Yow's Birthday! - 30 Nov 2010

Another outdated post...

Cherng Yow, but I called him Chai (his surname) [I respect his family name often?]. I knew him since Form 1 in S.M. All Saints, K.K. Can't believe we end up studying in UTAR, Perak Campus together but different course.

His birthday celebration...

The cake.

Birthday boy!

Cake cutting.

Jhun Haw (knew him since Chai & me both having same Physics tuition place during SPM) witnessing.

Secondary schoolmates!

Both living under the same roof.

=]

P.S.: This is a scheduled post. I'm probably becoming a lonely traveler in Ipoh now.
